A perfect low black boot - I love low black boots, and think they are a wardrobe basic. Over the years, I've had some beautiful granny-style and riding-style laceups that I've loved, but as I've gotten older, my feet are more and more particular. Plus I have wide feet and large calves, so it's important that the boot fit right. This boot is a godsend. It's classic in its styling, and looks great with business pants, sort of like a man's shoe, and with long skirts. The leather is quality and the line of it is good. Best of all, it fits great. And because it has no seams on the foot, it doesn't rub or irritate, and is already shaping itself to my foot. I wore them around the house for a few hours to break them in, and then wore them out to brunch and several hours of shopping, and my feet felt fine, no blisters or rubbing spots. I am glad to finally have this wardrobe staple back in my shoe closet.
