Blue suede boots for pants aren't easy to find and I bought these to replace my old ones that are falling apart. I typically wear a size 7.5 so I ordered these boots in both a size 7 and 8 hoping that one would fit well; not so. The 8 was way too large, even w/ very heavy socks. The 7 was near impossible to get my foot into and I don't even have a high instep or arch. Once my poor feet were inside they did fit, feel comfortable, and look good. But here's the rub, (oops-pun), if your heel is narrow like mine, they will slip. I'm sadly sending these boots back since I don't want to endure the ugly-Cinderella-sister torture every time I want to wear them or dislocate my femur pulling them off. For this price, Born should've added a zipper which would've taken care of both problems.
